Belano is a member of Balirossa's party. Being a magician, she is very obsessed with magic, even though her mana capacities are rather low.
Background[]
Belano is a magician. She is currently an adventurer. She was in a party with Balirossa, Byleri and Blossom until they teamed up with Flio and Rys and started to live with them. Even though she is a magician, her mana capacity is very small and thus she often ends up getting sick after using a few spells.
Appearance[]
She has medium length, deep dark purple hair, slightly frizzy with choppy center focused bangs, and violet eyes. Her equipment contains mostly just her staff which has wooden frame, featuring a purple orb at the top, adding a magical touch to her appearance. Belano is dressed in a charming and prominent witch outfit, featuring a large witch hat adorned with a bow that complements her ensemble. She wears a purple vest over a white long-sleeve shirt, accented with a yellow bow at the neckline. Her pleated, short pink skirt harmonizes with the purple and yellow details of her outfit. White stockings that reach above her knees provide a striking contrast to the darker hues, completing her look with a touch of elegance.
Plot[]
Volume 1[]
She got first introduced when Flio was in the Adventurer's Guild and wanted to help Rys, who at that time was still in the Dark Army. She and her party didn't believe that Flio can use spatial magic. They accompanied him and Rys to the Delaveza Forest where Rys tried to kill them and they apologized to Flio for not believing him at first. She and her party got saved by Flio, who sent them back via spatial magic. Later she and her party tried to kill a horde of Psychobears but they were on the verge of death because their opponents were too many and too strong. They got saved by Flio and Rys. After seeing their strength, they decided to follow Flio who accepted to become their instructor.
Volume 2[]
After Flio asked them to show him their skills and Balirossa failed to defeat the Psychobear she stepped in and attacked the bear together with Byleri and Blossom. After Blossom attacked, she had to safe her from the Bears attack, using her Defensive Magic. Though her spell couldn't last long, due to her running out of magic. She even had to vomit.
After this session, they went home together. Their new home is a abandoned house near the place where the Psychobears showed up. After making Sybe a new place to sleep, they wanted to eat Rys's dinner and were shocked when they saw raw meat on the table. She and the others helped Flio with the cooking, after he decided to cook instead of Rys. After finishing cooking she enjoyed the food. She spent the next month training.
One Day Flio walked over to her and asked how the ring he gave her was. She answered with a yes. He had to make her this ring, because she would always throw up when they tried to increase her mana. As soon as he left, she tried to put the ring on her ring finger, but she got scared by Rys, who suddenly appeared behind her and glared at the ring. Being scared, she put the ring on her middle finger. After they went home, she was very surprised that Rys's cooking tastes that good. She and the other female knights were shocked and scared, after meeting Uliminas after Dinner. Belano even played dead. They kept observing the conversation between Uliminas, Rys and Flio from far away. While Flio, Rys and Uliminas argued about the spar, she was on top of Sybe, who was in his Psychobear form, together with the other knights. She fainted after realizing who Flio killed (Fengaryl, one of the Infernal Four) and who Rys really was (Rys).
Several days later, after the attack of the Dragon Riders was over, she was inside the house together with the other female knights. There she talked about Blossoms new achievement. She was the one to give her a new nickname: Blossom the Hoe-Heaver and she also called the hoe the Holy Hoe.
She and the other knights watched the conversation between Flio, Ghozal and Fenrys from another room and were scared above all when Ghozal released his pressure. After he had left, she and the others rushed over to Balirossa and realized that she fainted with her eyes open.
Several weeks later she and the other knights were peeking outside of the window and all of them were shocked and scared., since outside stood several hundred soldiers and the Blonde Hero himself on a horse.
After hearing the Blonde Heros threats to Flio, she and the other knights raised their voice, saying that his behavior is awful, especially for someone who is supposed to be a hero. They had a harsh argument with him. After Balirossa's speech, she and the other knights showed Flio, their will to go stay with him. She got teleported away by Flio, together with the other knights, Fenrys and their whole property.
Volume 3+[]
Belano felt bad about still mooching off of Flio. She was jealous of Flio's relationship with Rys and anxious at Hiya's introduction to the household.
Trivia[]
- One year prior to Flio being summoned Belano would lose both her Father and Brother when their platoon was killed by a Fire Salamander the same Salamander Flio and Rys would later kill when doing Adventurer's Guild work unknowingly avenging their deaths.
- She had a crush on Flio both in a familial way seeing Flio as a surrogate Father/Brother figure as well as slight romantic way, but Fenrys being possessive of Flio luckily scared Belano witless until she eventually redirected her affection to Minilo.
- Despite sucking at practical application of attack magic, Belano is good in defense magic and able to teach it without a hitch.
