Flio is the main protagonist of the series. Before being summoned to Klyrode, he worked as a merchant. Even though Demons and Demi-Humans were treated badly in his previous world, he tried his best to treat them equally. Despite being kicked out by the King, he decided to live a comfortable life in this new world. Due to his immense powers, all sorts of people gather around him every day.
Background[]
Banaza was in his previous World a Merchant. Even though Demons were regarded as slaves in his previous World, he treated them equally. He even insisted on trading with them, after they didn't want to get played by him.
He got summoned to Klyrode while talking to Quinn.
Banaza, who got summoned to the magic kingdom of Klyrode as a Hero candidate, due to having only the abilities of only a regular citizen, got treated as a failure. He, who originally was supposed to be returned to his original world, due to the Magic Kingdom's mistake, became unable to return to his original world, inevitably has to live in this world.
Personality[]
Flio is for the most part a kind and generous soul; with his background as a merchant giving him exceptional social skills. Though he can be clueless about the intentions of others. However, should a loved one of his come under threat or harm, Flio unleashes the wrath of hell (metaphorically and pretty damn close magically) on the aggressor.
Though he originally agreed to wed Risu to keep her from suicide, Flio fell in love with her; being incredibly loyal and loving. After saving her from dying, Flio consummated their marriage; with Risu desiring offspring.
Appearance[]
He is of average height, has brown hair and is of a decent build. His clothes are leather-like and consist of mostly blue and brown elements. His cape is green.
Plot[]
Volume 1[]
Banaza got summoned from his world (Kingdom of Paluma) to another world, to be exact, he got summoned to the Magical Kingdom of Klyrode. He got summoned as a Hero Candidate but insisted on not being one since he was a Merchant in his previous world.
Thus his Stats was, just as he said, these of a normal citizen. Shocked of him being a failed Hero Candidate, the magicians wanted to send him back to his previous world. The magicians got interrupted due to the summoning of the Blonde Hero, a man with stats comparable to those of a real Hero. To praise the new hope of the kingdom, the King held a banquet for the new Hero. During the banquet, Banaza tried to talk to the maids and other workers from the royal palace to help him get back.
Finally after the banquet was finished he got a chance to talk to a maid. Unluckily, sending someone back to his original world is only possible if the Gate is still open but due to the banquet him not being able to talk to anybody, this Gate got closed, and thus he was not able to go back to his world.
The King apologized and admitted this grave mistake and thus he permitted him to live in this realm. He sent Banaza to the Delaveza Forest, where he could live from now on. The trip to the forest took him 20 days. He was very surprised, that the King would make a Slave Contract with a demi-human, just to bring him to the forest but his surprise, in this world there does not exist such things as Slave Contracts like in his previous world. In this world, humans and demi-humans coexist.
Arrived in the forest, he checks the magic bag, which he received and kills a small Slime. Directly after that he got a notification on his status window, that he leveled up to level 2, thus gaining every single magic skill and all his abilities changed to ∞, they became infinite (basically, he became OP af). Since he became so powerful, his magic abilities sensed that his Bottomless Bag, which he got from the King, was imbued with hidden magic and was emitting Monster-Luring Magic that attracts nearby monsters, Location-Tracking Magic and Forced Recovery Magic. Thus he used one of his skills to get rid of the curses on the bag.
Entering the forest he got automatically warned since the forest was covered with a high concentration of Malicium which deals fatal damage to human beings. He used Purification Magic to get rid of the severe magic in the whole forest. Since Purification is the most effective Magic against Demons, he killed every single Demon inside the forest, thus leveled up to level 367. But due to him not realizing that he killed a bunch of Demons he thinks that his levels get up if he only uses his magic. He isn't even realizing that the symbol ∞ means that all his stats are infinite, instead, he thinks that he is so weak that the skill board won't show him any numbers. He decided to completely start over in this new world and to earn some money, thus, to not get recognized, he changes his appearance with a skill of his (Shapeshifting Magic).
After teleporting to the castle town of Klyrode with Teleportation Magic he registers himself in an Adventurers Guild and he also changes his name to Flio. While unable to decide which quest to accept, he got approached by a female demi-human child who asked him to escort her to the Delaveza Forest. Surprised about this job, he agreed to escort her since he could use Teleportation Magic. He was suddenly stopped by four female knights which threatened him to leave this girl since he wouldn't be able to accomplish the task. The four knights didn't believe him saying, that he could use Teleportation since it is high-ranking magic that only a few mages can use and thus they assume that he was after the body of the girl. Flio proposed to the Knights to come with him so that he could show them that he is speaking the truth. He teleported him and the others to the Delaveza Forest and they were shocked that he really could use such high-ranking magic, they even began questioning his identity.
Suddenly the Knights gather around the girl. The demi-human girl turned out to be a Lupine Demon and tried to attack all of them after she turned into her original form which is the form of a Fang Wolf. The four Knights couldn't do anything against the Demon and thus, Flio sent them back to Klyrode with his Teleportation. He attacked the Demon with Gravitation Magic and crushed her onto the ground. He kept rejecting the proposal of his magic system to use Subjugation Magic on the Demon because he remembered how Demons were treated in his previous world. The Demon turned into her demi-human form since all her magic was used up and Flio proposed to her that if she would refrain from attacking humans, starting from that point onwards, he wouldn't mind her sticking to him. Thus the Demon, who turned out to be called Fenrys, humbly accepted his offer and also declared him her master.
He put Fenrys into a tent, since she fell asleep due to her Magical Points being depleted, and healed her wounds. When she woke up he talked with her about the thing of him being her master. Instead of being her master he asked her to be his wife in name only, she agreed. After talking, he confessed to her, that he is from another world and even showed her his true self.
One week later, the two of them went to Klyrode and he registered Fenrys in the Adventurers Guild under the name Rys. After accepting an emergency quest to subjugate a horde of Psychobears that appeared in the Northern Forest, the two of them went to buy new equipment. Even though other Adventurers made jokes about them accepting the quest, he ignored them and bought a ring for Rys. It is a magical ring which boosts the Speed and Defense stats. He put the ring on her left-hand finger and stated, that this is proof of marriage in human culture. He also has the same ring on one of his fingers. He teleported and Rys to the Northern Forest where the Psychobears are. They found the four female Knights surrounded by a horde of Psychobears.
Flio killed most of the Psychobears with one hit of his Lightning Magic skill. The four Knights were very surprised after seeing Flio again. The only Bear who was left alive, behaved like a pet after feeling the immense power of Rys. Due to this, he decided to make the bear their new pet, since Rys was the one who made this proposal. He used Obedience on him, to suppress sudden rages and he turned him into a Unicron Rabbit using Shapeshift. He called their new pet Sybe. After that the four Knights introduced themselves as Balirossa, Blossom, Belano and Byleri. They asked him if he could join forces with them, but Flio declined since he was traveling together with his wife Rys. But since Rys was so exited that he called her his wife in front of others, she said that he could help them out, and thus he accepted to become the instructor/teacher of the four Knights.
Volume 2[]
In order to understand everyone's abilities, Flio caught a Psychobear and had the female Knights fight it. To his surprise, they failed completely and couldn't do anything against the bear. After this session, they went home together. Their new home is a abandoned house near the place where the Psychobears showed up. Inside the house, Flio created a sleeping place for Sybe, who seemed to really like it. After he accepted Rys's proposal to let her cook, he was very surprised to see raw meat on the plates and had to tell her, that humans don't eat raw meat. Thus, he and the female Knights decided to cook for that day.
Some time after, he and Rys went to the adventurers guild and he brought them the psychobears, they had killed. After letting Rys go and do her own business, he went in a private room, where he talked with one of the adventurers guild employees. He received the bounty for the killed psychobears and had to turn down an offer from the employee, who asked him if he could join the King's army, seeing that he is a very capable adventurer.
When he left the room, he saw Rys, whose clothes and body was really dirty. But she couldn't tell him what really happened.
Flio spent the next month training the females and crafting accessories like rings. One day, he praised Blossom for taking such good care of the garden, together with Sybe. He walked over to Belano and asked her if she was alright and if the ring that he gave her is helping. The ring he gave her had the effect MP +5. He had to make her this ring, because she would always throw up when they tried to increase her mana. Before walking away he suggested her to wear this ring for the rest of the day and just take it off if she feels sick. He thought, that the knights did improve since the beginning, but it doesn't look like they are cut out for fighting. After that, he decided to go home together with everyone and accepted Rys's proposal of letting her cook.
At first, he was unsure, but after seeing the food, he was amazed at her improvement. He praised her for the cooking. Later that day, he welcomed Uliminas, who was found by Rys, into their home. He even served her cookies and tea. After hearing from Uliminas about how clean the forest is, he answers that it was his doing. After Uliminas told him that that means, that he is the one who killed Rys's older brother Fengaryl, he felt bad. Though after talking with Rys and her saying that it's not his fault, he held back his emotions. He also agreed to have a spar with Uliminas and didn't mind Rys's warnings.
Outside of their house, they started the spar. He decided the rules: The battle is over if either one of them surrenders and magic is allowed. Seeing Uliminas cast not only Poison Claws, but a wide area Poison Magic, which would also affect Rys, he nullified her magic and paralyzed her using Crucifixion Magic in an instant. He said, that he was ok with making this battle, but he can't forgive her for aiming at Rys.
A few days later, a soldier stood in front of their house, Flio who talked to him said, that he had no intentions to join the King's army and sent the soldier away. Shortly after, Uliminas came back with the strongest Dragon Squad from the Dark Army, the Dragon Riders. Rather than being scared, he was delighted to see real dragons for the first time in his life. He told Fenrys, that in his previous world, he just sold sometimes products made out of dragon scales but never saw a real dragon. Though, after Uliminas initiated an attack, he killed most of the Dragons in an instant, using Holy Magic Heavenly Hammer. After Uliminus escaped, he told Blossom to throw the hoe, since she wanted to kill a dragon. He gave the hoe several effects, such as Speed Up, Improved Striking, Piercing and Consecration. After the hoe killed the Dragon he checked her stats and saw the title Dragon Slayer in them.
Sometime later he and Fenrys ran to Balirossa. Flio asked her if she was all right. He told her that something tripped his Magic Field Detection Field and after he and Fenrys checked that man's identity, it said that he was the Dark One himself. He felt sorry for Balirossa who was seemingly in shock after hearing that.
On another day, after welcoming Ghozal he let him enter their house and they sat down around a table, Flio next to his wife Fenrys and Ghozal next to Balirossa. He declined Ghozal's offer to join his Dark Army and told him that he does not want to participate in this war and even tells him that he is not from this realm., thus doesn't even know why there is a war between the Humans and the Demons. Ghozal told him the history of the war and Flio was shocked after hearing that the war started 500 years ago.
After hearing the story, Flio asked Ghozal if he want's to stop the fighting, to which he replied that he doesn't want to fight, but if there is something that threatens his people then he can't just sit still. He wasn't intimidated by Ghozals Pressure and rejected his offer to join his army again. He stated that he is not interested in taking either side. When Ghozal was about to leave he told him that he could come by and chat any time.
Several weeks later, he was really shocked to see several hundred soldiers and the Blonde Hero in front of his house. He rejected Fenrys's offer to drive them away and opened the door. The Blonde Hero walked over to him and offered him to either become his underling or die.
After that the female Knights and the hero had a harsh argument. When the blonde hero tried to kick Balirossa with his horse, he stepped in and blocked the kick. He told the hero again, that he is not interested in fighting and thus he said, that he and his companions will leave this place. As he spoke, a magic circle appeared underneath his feet, the circle covered also their house. Though, before leaving, he asked Fenrys if she was ok with it and also the female knights asked him to let then join. After everything was settled, he teleported himself, his companions, the house and the garden to the town, where they had sold the dragon scales and meat.
Volume 3+[]
Flio was happy that Rys was helping him with the housework ever since the move. They ended up going on a date together. After he sold some wares to the local shops, he was attacked by Hiya. Rys was killed and Flio flew into a rage while also learning the Djinn's magic. Using this magic he reversed time on Rys bringing her back to life. Flio nearly killed Hiya only to be stopped by Rys and brought to his senses. He accepted Hiya into his household to keep an eye on her and helped fix Houghtow. After that point Flio grew to love Rys and had sex with her that night, only to yell at Hiya for spying on him and Rys.

Trivia[]
- His real height is unknown, when choosing his new appearance he just chose "average height". Thus we can assume that he is around 172 cm or 5,7.5 feet tall.
- When asked his name in the adventurers guild, he answered "Flio", which was his old dog's name.
- It's highly likely his wife wasn't the first woman he slept with in his life; considering he wasn't feeling awkward the next day or riding on a "losing virginity" high like her.
- Flio had trouble conceiving with Fenrys for some time; despite their attempts.
- It's heavily implied he never saw an Infinity symbol before his summoning, as he thought the status was broken due to not showing a number.
